So, what goes on here? I am the web master of the Colour Group of Great Britain. You can see the Group logo on the left and learn more about it at:

Other interests include repair of old and damaged books and bookbinding. Here are photos of one job of re-binding a Victorian instructional book for a musician, and one showing the design developed for a new binding for Thomas Hardy's The Mayor of Casterbridge (click picture to see more).
I also play at "doing woodstuff" which means making toys like the beach hut for a granddaughter or repairing chair frames for my wife to re-upholster. Here you see a caned chair reconstructed from its remains which were, in effect, a bag of sticks that a second-hand furniture shop had thrown out. Also, there are before and after shots of a Victorian small ottomman - my contribution to this is now invisible, thanks to the horse hair, wadding, fabric and all the other stuff the upholsterer applies.

And yes, we have a garden with grass to mow, weeds to remove and vegetables to sow, tend and, eventually if we win the fight with the pigeons, eat.
